Anyone else in CMPT 307?

so scared for this midterm

airclimber 10-23-2014 09:57 PM

Anyone taken BUS 320 + BUS 360 in the same semester before? Is it manageable?

Purely 10-23-2014 10:45 PM

Currently taking BUS 320, 360, and 381. Not working this semester, so the workload is manageable. However, it's pretty tough considering the amount of effort and time you need to put in for 360 and 320.

I wish I had taken 360 earlier because it is a really useful course (will help for other business courses and most importantly in the work place).

Does anybody know some good gpa boosters?
how is crim 101 like with barry? i can't seem to find his syllabus

I took archaeology 131 last year with Sandgathe. Easy course if you take good lecture notes.

Education 199.

My friend took 131 and got an A, but i took arch 100 and didn't do too well. I hated the course so much it was soooooo boring. All you do is just remember really random places, weird names, and the stuff they excavated.

Thanks, but aren't EDUC courses really hard to enter?
Who was your professor? and it's only DE right?

Thanks to everyone !

Humanities 102W i think, with david mirhady, its greek mythology; it was hands down the most fun course I've taken as a undergrad, if you don't mind writing short summaries (think it was 4 when I took it) and reading (short stories, the Iliad, Odyssey) ...it can be fun A(+)

I don't think it was hard to enter? I'm not an Educ minor or major and I got in fine I think. It's DE yea. Prof is Carolyn Mamchur.

Halloween related post ..

A friend was telling me SFU has a state of the art morgue and forensic facility. Anyone know where it is located? I think its near the crim wing somewhere but have no clue.

EDIT:

Did some digging, sounds like pre-2005 the SFU morgue was at the bottom of WMC:
http://www.the-peak.ca/2005/07/csi-burnaby/

Wonder where it is now -- what buildings were made after 2005? Just blusson hall and Saywell hall?

yray 10-31-2014 11:24 AM

Key Plans - SFU Burnaby Campus

Right when you walk up the stairs to Saywell Hall, take the next flight of stairs to your left and basically walk to the very end of the hallway and you'll find the Forensic Facility. Only know this because my secret dumping area is there.

yray 10-31-2014 02:16 PM

room 9207?

http://www.sfu.ca/fs/key-plans/docs/...an-Layout1.pdf

own loading dock, huge ass doors, weird amount of sinks and is basically blocked from most hallways

3klipze 10-31-2014 06:50 PM

Wow. shit...so many places I have not explored at SFU before

Xu.Vi 10-31-2014 08:05 PM

Finding clean toilets where you can do what you do is important.

I've got my spot.

:lol

xXSupa 11-01-2014 07:34 PM

I've got my spot too. :)

SFU has a lot of tunnels under convo and west mall. Did a lot of exploring in my first 2 years when I lived on res..
