Oh shit eh...I've been parking at UniverCity way over the 2hr limit all semester. I should be more careful, or just wake up on fuckin time and take the bus like normal people.

PandaDog 02-03-2015 10:39 PM

JC, just sell your U-Pass for $70/month

The parking pass is $70/month

:toot:

J.C 02-03-2015 11:40 PM

haha i dont have a u-pass, i'm a part time student

usually im okay because im only at school 2hrs a day and still park within the 2hr limit, but pushed my luck today and unfortunately the same day they decide to ticket and tow the entire street

ticket for parking over the limit is $40 i believe

PandaDog 02-04-2015 07:43 AM

Yeah, they're beginning to tow quite often

I saw a red mundies tow truck tow someone from the Univercity side on my way home around 5pm

Tr1ll 02-04-2015 08:56 AM

Pretty thankful to have a friend living at Univercity. Don't need to worry about not having a place to park or paying for it.

J.C 02-04-2015 10:12 AM

Spotted a few tow trucks heading up
Watch out

Prepare to get ticketed.

I use to park at univercity as well (was good for like the 10+ times I parked over 2 hrs) but finally last semester I got ticketed by the city of Burnaby for $40.

But overall that 10+ times I didn't pay totally made the $40 ticket worth it. So still not bad.

OGCStrike 02-04-2015 05:57 PM

they were towing people at 5pm? i thought they usually tow in the morning and early afternoon :heckno:

SFU doesn't typically do curving.

However, scaling is definitely done (especially in math and phys).

Officially applied for graduation

Been here way too long, time to get out into the real world -- surprisingly I found one of my best friends at SFU off revscene :gay:

Good luck to all you SFU-ers ... it's not that depressing!

^ first year... maybe second year

third and fourth ... you just end up seeing the same people within your major :okay:

Especially fun when your major is male dominant .

Vale46Rossi 02-12-2015 10:00 AM

Got to school early... Classroom locked... Reading break but online schedule still shows I have class this week.....

Any good eat's/recommendation around SFU Surrey?

Doesn't have to be right at Surrey Central. Could be nearby.

jcmaz 02-25-2015 07:32 PM

Neptune and their subsidiary restaurant, that pho place across from the gas station on King George, and that Chinese restaurant across from Surrey Central skytrain station.

Xu.Vi 02-26-2015 12:18 AM

Pho Tam!

SladeWilson 02-27-2015 01:34 PM

Anybody taken Dave Cox for 105?

Is his practice MT questions exactly the same or slightly different from the actual MT, because the practice one is a breeze for me and I've barely studied hard O_o

areyounoob 03-01-2015 12:45 PM

Anyone take CMPT 354 with Jane Huang?

A lot of people online comment about her accent but not about the course content/resources and assignments, which is what I'm most interested in.

buffon 03-02-2015 08:12 AM

Anyone here take BUS 320 with Dennis before? Midterm is this week and I wanted to know what kind of questions he usually puts on it.
