Lol it wasn't that bad, but I made some really stupid mistakes... Not sure if his tests have gotten easier over the years or something. I'm worried that the average is going to be pretty high.

Coincidentally I was just talking with a buddy (who I took dchung's 320 with) today and he was saying how dchung got a lot easier since. He knows a bunch of people who got A's and they weren't that smart according to him.

Ya the midterm only had 5 questions and they were almost exactly the same as the assignments and sample midterm. The average is going to be so high. Do you remember the average for your class lol?

I find it hilarious that the Burnaby classes' average was almost 10% higher than the Surrey class for 393. Goes to show how many people took the exam in Surrey, then told their friends who were in the Burnaby classes, what's on the exam. I'm surprised Shafik used the same exam for all 3 classes.

Thank god the Surrey & Burnaby classes aren't curved together.

Shafik said the Surrey class has a different exam from the two Burnaby classes...The two Burnaby classes are back-to-back so he didn't need to create different exams, but he made a slightly modified version for his Surrey class because of the huge gap.

By the way, Shafik's average has been like this for the longest time so it's not like this is the only semester that it happened in.

SFU residence shut down over safety concerns leaving students in limbo - BC | Globalnews.ca

$900 to live with asbestos and mold :fuckthatshit: I'd rather live in those illegal suites down the mountain.

is taking CMPT 225 and CMPT 275 together manageable?

Anyone know any easy upper division courses in:
communications, cognitive science, philosophy, business, or psychology?

Yes but it will be very tough. 225 assignments take time and you need a good group for 275 or else you will spend countless hours fixing/ or doing your team member's share of work.

In all the classes I've taken in Surrey (where the prof was also teaching the same course in bby), the averages were always significantly lower than the bby class... anywhere from 5-12%. That was why some of my friends and I took courses there, easier to get good marks :D

Maybe Burnaby students are just smarter than Surrey kids Kappa

Debating between Crim 104 with Barry Cartwright and Pol 241 with Serdar Kaya. Both are distance ed. Which ones easier and which has more engaging material? Also, how is distance ed. ? It's my first time doing an online course.

The labs are fairly easy, especially if you have a good TA. This class was the easiest shit I ever took. I went to the first 2 lectures, saw that it wasn't useful. I skipped the next 10 weeks, got an A. You will make so much profit from this course. All I did was study the bolded words in the textbook.
