What's easier? HSCI 120 with Kate Salters or ARCH 131 with Hugo Cardoso?

HSCI 120 with Kate was easy -all midterms were m/c. That being said, you still had to put a bit of effort into memorizing it. Some of it are common sense. I've never taken ARCH 131 before so I can't really give you a comparison of the two.

Any tips for the midterm? Do you recommend using the textbook? The prof mentioned you can expect to get between a B-B+ with the lecture notes alone, but they seem to lack information..so I'm a bit stumped

tfw you're in bus 360 and your group is full of fobs and you rewrite the whole report ONLY to figure out that they handed in the submission with 0 of my edit/work on it.

It's okay, email the prof with the updated copy of the report and call them out. You deserve to be recognized for your work.

yeah i emailed both my TA and prof about it. gonna go talk to my TA tomorrow then my prof the following day. so much salt in my body today lol.

Who are you taking BUS 360 with?

taking it with robin elliot. gonna first meet up my TA to show him what i've contributed/edited and compare it to what actually was submitted. My TA told me that as it stands that he will only give me the mark of what was handed in, unless there's a drastic change then we'll discuss it together to the prof.

Hey guys, how difficult is MACM 316? If you could compare it to another course, what would you compare it to?

If MACM 316 is really difficult then i'll probably just leave these courses as-is. But if it's not bad then I'll probably add CMPT 454 into the mix.

I found MACM316 pretty time consuming due to the weekly assignments that require you to write a max one page report on some MATLAB code you wrote. If I had to compare the class to another class for midterm/final it would probably be combination of MATH232/MATH152 so I wouldn't add in 454 if I were you

Any recommendation for a B-Sci course?

ARCH 131, BPK 140, CMPT 165, STAT 100 are all pretty easy.

Arch 131 and Bpk 140 are memorization heavy. Cmpt 165 is basic html stuff + a bit of python. Stat 100 is mostly theory and common sense, very little calculation. Some people said Stat 100 is hard, but personally i found it very easy.
