Anyone take BPK312 with Matthew White before?
Are the lecture slides sufficient for the exams, or were questions pulled out of the textbook as well?

Has anyone tried the new burger joint (Big Smoke Burgers) that opened up at Cornerstone?
Also heard they might open up an A&W too!

Does anyone know if the AQ ever locks its doors, and if it does, what time they re-open?
I'm heading up to school early tomorrow, probably around 5:30 AM to 6 AM. Just hoping that it would be open, otherwise it's going to be a pretty cold morning |

Any thoughts on the following course load for the summer?
CMPT 373: Fraser
CMPT 376W: Baker
CMPT 454: Edgar
CMPT 475: unknown for now...
Might switch 475 with 471 (Regan) or 477 (Ternovska; also intersession). Any input is appreciated.

It's pretty common to graduate > 5 years at SFU especially if you do coop and take time off. The only way you can graduate at SFU in 4 years is 1) Scholarship 2)Get really good grades 3)Lucky

Took exactly 5 years, but aside from 1 summer course during 2012, I've always had summers off, and I took 1 additional semester (Fall 2011) off as I was on co-op. I did take 1 or 2 evening courses during that co-op semester.
Almost every semester from 1st to the end of 3rd year I took 5 courses. Slowed it down for my last year and a half.
Take your time though... do co-op, exchange and get involved. Work sucks!

Turns out I need another B-hum & B-soc, so I'm looking for a course that kills 2 birds with 1 stone.
Has anyone taken COGS 100 or 110? Both these courses fulfill the requirements, but I have no clue how these courses are (science major here).
What about IAT 210 (Games Studies)?
Anyone else have recommendations? I prefer the easiest courses possible lol

I don't think you can use one course to fulfill both a B-HUM and B-SOC credit.
For a B-HUM I took FPA 140. You basically listen to music by various composers and describe what you hear. Really fun and easy course. Every assignment is a paper with around 5-6 paragraphs for each composition. The journal was 10 pages, paper was 7 pages. I loved that it was online.
I'm sure there are easier courses though.

Any of you guys know of a site that lets you plan your schedule out? It has a list of all the courses offered for the semester you choose and it even has all the tutorial sections included as well. In the end it generates a timetable for you.
I used it last semester to plan everything out but now I can't seem to remember it or even find it after searching on google. I'm pretty sure it's not off of the actual SFU site either.
