It's boring as hell...The slides took me forever to get through. Like you, I'm relying on my midterm mark...and the assignment marks. I just wanna get it over with.
And btw, in one of the classes he said he'd ask a question about the Permian Mass Extinction on the final...I'm guessing it'll be one of the long answer q's.

I had a lot of D's...

Yeah I got a lot of D's. First two questions I got D, then third I got A. But It depends what color paper you got too. At least there was an easy AFDA/Bad-Debt-Expense question.

Fucking exercises lol.
But yeah, prof was pretty cool though, did you have time to drop into one of the office hours?

HEYEOOOO.
My friend recieved a gpa of 1.9 and his cgpa is still below 2.0.
He told me he isn't stressed about this fact, because he won't get kicked out of school. He explained to me that if you take less than 9 units per semester, his gpa and cgpa won't matter? WHAAAAAAAAAAAT? Anyone wanna shed some light on this? :S This seems false to me.
SFU BTW.

I always thought even if its 3 units, it all counts towards your academic standings. Watch your friend get put on AP

Well, he kinda does have a point though. I mean, say you take ONE class. What if you fuck up in the class? Your gpa for that semester alone will be dependent of that one class. Will they kick you out of the school solely because of this? :S

well, I think if you have fine standings beforehand, the most you could get is AP. However, if it affects both, THEN you'd get academic suspension.
Say, if you had a 2.33cgpa before, you take one course and you get like a 1.66 gpa, it shouldn't pull your cgpa down below a 2.00 if you had more credits. Yes, it could affect your cgpa by a bit, but with just 3 credits or whatnot, it shouldn't have a MAJOR effect unless you have 9 credits to begin with.
I know for Langara, that was how it worked. I took 2 courses one semester, I got a C and a F. My GPA was below a 2.0 so I was placed on AP. However, because my cgpa didn't fall below 2.0, I was not on suspension.
This is also why they [Langara] implemented a new rule that states withdrawals don't count towards AP ... I wish they had that rule when I was there, I wouldn't have so many AP's on my record!

if either your term GPA or your cumulative GPA is <2.00, then you're on AP.
if you bring both back up, you're off.
or msth like that it hink.....

my understanding is ... if you get either one of them, you're on AP. If you get both, you get AS/booted. If the semester after, your grades don't permit you to get off AP (bring both gpa AND cgpa over 2.00), you get AS/booted.
