yo, for you guys that are in BUS, got a question on the bell curve.
I always thought the maximum people can get A's (A+'s to A-'s) is only 14% of the class.

I'm looking at my 343 outline again and it says 15%-25%, wtf? that sounds way offffffffff. I remember I was looking at some other class it was only 14% MAXIMUM.

It's not 25%. Usually it's somewhere between 10-15%, depending on the class. It's not a big deal, just a typo.

so who's taking summer? and what courses?

honestly though, the course was pretty easy considering how little time you have to put into it.
no reading, barely any assignments, easy lectures with few notes, and very straightforward exams.
good course lol

David is very, VERY good.

I got an A... though I found it kind of unfair.

I got 95.5% on the midterm, 99% on the assignments, 98% on the final. And ended with an A and not an A+

I took it with Michael Johnson. Good prof.

My friend was in Dobson's class and he said their midterm average was 80% haha
Both are supposed to be better than the Chinese guy that used to teach Bus 336.

is the 336 material exactly the same in both classes? they are using 2 difft texts and the syllabus' are slightly different

Is it the same prof? If it's a diff prof usually the stuff is pretty much the same, just explained in a different style.

Take it with David Dobson, a VERY good prof, fair and interesting. He'll keep you intrigued the whole lecture.

Anyone having problems with SFUNET-SECURE? Since the summer term started, it keeps prompting me for my password before it'll connect. That makes it no more convenient than regular old SFUNET. :(

I'm connected to it right now, did it via the download package (beta?) Seems to be working so far, but I started using secure today after friends keep telling me to.
