yeah i try to but the reading for this class is brutal
there was one week when we had to read 3 chapters... wtf. that shit was like 100 pages of pure text.

anyways on chapter 6 out of 9 now LOL
gave up taking notes at chapter 2. just looking at the slides while skimming the book now.
fell asleep too many times while studying. probably shoulda started earlier.

Google "SFU Faculty of [your faculty here] 2009 Calendar". Bookmark it. Most Faculties and Schools lay out the first 4 terms for you in that calendar, so if you follow it fairly closely you'll be fine. Have you gone to Blueprints? Don't. It's a waste of time. Just download the Blueprints booklet from the SFU site. If you're still confused about WQB once you've settled down, book an appointment with an academic advisor (you're paying for them anyways). On the subject of money--used books. Go early/search RS/Craigslist. It saves a bundle of cash and for first year classes you should be able to get all used books. Watch out for? Try to get high marks in first year. Honestly, you'll only realize it once you're in second year, but most first year classes build mostly on high school stuff. Get high marks in first year classes so that you have some "buffer room" when you take higher-level (harder) courses. Otherwise your CGPA will be more... vulnerable.

Don't surf RS in class.

We do it for next weeks tutorial, but we are also using next weeks tutorial to work on it also.. (it's not due.. it's actually not worth marks since its just to prepare us to work on the strategy he gave us + try out case studies).
