Lol what cars are these?

I've seen some around I think could be members here.

Celica with CF hood and a wing? That was the most obvious...

You know, I haven't been called "Poonster" in a long time, lol.

Are tutorials smaller? I mean how do ppl take notes in lecture hall. You get so little room to move around.

It was so random seeing you so I felt the need to improv.

I've got a class in downtown and a class in burnaby on the same day. I drove the first day just to try it out and figured that it would be too much of a hassle to do so...

What's the simplest way to get from SFU harbour center to SFU bby? Do I just take the skytrain?

Thanks,

Transit Noob

Take the 135. One bus direct from HC to Bby.

New semester! Maybe I'll join you guys for something ... sometime.... but on the other hand, come on the CAC skitrip to Sun Peaks!

Hahahah :haha:, but I assure you it's not a Thai Suprise ;).

Ikkaku 09-10-2009 12:07 PM

ended like 1.5 hours early... fuck, where's everybody at?

The_AK 09-10-2009 01:25 PM

I'm here EVERY DAY! Except weekends, anyone else sitting in buec-232 waiting for lecture to start with David?

TRDood 09-10-2009 03:52 PM

Anyone in D103 and D107 for ECON305?
how do you guys like the class so far?

Alphamale 09-10-2009 04:37 PM

I had no idea Mr.Golovetskyy is an ex-Soviet Tank Commander.

This guy is too awesome. What are the times for D103 and D107? I might just end up going to the one right after class on Wednesdays since attendance and shit doesn't matter.

jimzilla 09-10-2009 04:46 PM

anyone know when the temp parking lot parking is cheaper again? is it after 5pm for $3 rest of night?

ienhz 09-11-2009 12:38 AM

yo, TRDood, have you been a TA before? Do you know if there's any point in attending that stupid TA/TM day event or if it's even required?

TRDood 09-11-2009 09:21 AM

i haven't been a TA before, but im still not going to attend the TA/TM thing.

look at the outline of the schedule, it sucks ballsssss.

if you are friendly and know your stuff, i don't see how you can be THAT bad of a TA.

TRDood 09-11-2009 09:23 AM

i don't think it's required either.

i can work 17 hours per week and still get paid 5.17 units, or i can work 4 hours a week and still get paid 5.17 units.

we get paid at a flat rate at sfu (well, for econ and business), so i don't see a point wasting time on going to the workshops.

RFlush 09-11-2009 07:03 PM

How's SFU boys and girls?
I now realized how much of a piece of shit school it is. :)

BD2002 09-11-2009 10:28 PM

just wondering how much does each unit make for a TA? ie. a 6 base unit, how much would that be usuually?

TRDood 09-11-2009 11:30 PM

i am not sure for other departments, but for the economics department, it says about 5000 a semester for masters students and 6000 for phd.

that's a full TAship, which means taking on 4 hours of tutorial.

djm 09-13-2009 12:03 PM
