damn I'm in golovetskyy's class this term, just econ 104, he seems like a nice-enough guy so far
not sure why everyone on rate my prof says he is hard to understand, he has printed notes and everything is pretty straight forward, there's no textbook for my class but I wouldn't have read it anyways...

Do you have that middle east guy with the glasses for your TA? I think hes pretty good and knows what hes doing. But similar experience here nobody would voluntarily talk (cept me and maybe 2 others) in tutorial unless asked to do so by the TA. No cute girl in my tutorial though  | |

Very few actual English speakers. I hear we wont be able to choose our own groups either? The TA seems pretty decent. Did he also get you guys with the pop quiz thing?
This is not gonna be a good semester for me. Have 2 term projects, and the marketing project this semester, and the first two have shitty groups...

anyone know if theres any way to check the status of funds for student loans? sent in my agreement and stuff last tuesday so i know there will be a bit of a wait but just want to know when it will be coming since i have to pay course fees by monday.
also wondering if anyone knows if SFU can give extensions for the due date of the fees if i tell them the loans haven't come in yet.

@roflwaffle604 The late fee is only 2% (~$20) per month. My loan took weeks to get so I suggest you try paying for it with your parents money or w/e then pay them back or just incur the late fee. Oh and they wont give extensions... I tried.
