You have assignments and exams thats pretty much it but I recommend going to labs. Lectures are definitely required and you learn it in class but if you're smart you can learn on your own.
Put yourself on waitlist or send him an email or even go talk to the business office if class is full. Good luck

Anyone knows what international students like asian chinese people are doing near the discovery building? Everyday when I walk from the parking lot(the one that replaced g-lot), I see a bunch of chinese people walking down, is there a building or dorm down there?
All I see everytime is bmw x6, audi a7, gtr in front of the visitor parking beside the discovery building.

It's SFU's private money grab, classes there are like 3,000 EACH because international.
I feel bad for the ones who go there thinking they'll get out, but then again the majority of them drive cars normal students should really have no business driving when a CLASS costs 2-3K.
