I just got my class 6L (already have a class 5) today; it says "MST may not be taken prior to May 18; Road test may not be taken before Jun 3".

The 14 day wait for the MST/MSA is not required if you take a ICBC accredited school. IE I did my MSA at the school within a week of getting my learners and I was able to ride on the road by myself. The Road test I still had to wait the month, but the school got me more than ready for it. I got two demerits for shifting in an intersection while turning, ha ha.

when you're going for your road test, can ICBC provide you with a bike or you have to bring your own?

PRS is a good school. I used everything I learned at PRS and had a solid ride on my roadtest.

tis an amazing school, i had my 6L, signed up for their school a few days later, did the 4 or 5 night time classroom sessions, got on a bike for the very first time on a saturday, on sunday i did my MSA test and i passed without a single demerit. rode with my L for about 2 weeks, called icbc, booked an apt for 25 days ahead, used prs' bike, passed easily!

doubt id have passed without the shit they taught me!

Has anyone gone through BCSC?

I just passed the written test but its kind of late in the year to do it so I am planning to take a course next year. My initial choice is BCSC because its very close to where I work, which is not too far from where I live. But seeing that everyone here is recommending PRS in Surrey, is it that much better to justify going all the way to Surrey just to take a course?

BCSC is very very popular here in Kelowna. I strongly recommend them to all new riders.

I signed up for PRS nightschool A starting March 1st. Anyone else in that class? I think there is a discount if two people join together, or show up together for the first class at least.

Pm me!

Yup - as of Oct 2009 BCSC had to close its doors unrelated to anything to do with the Motorcycle Program. Justice Institute of BC bought most of the bikes, the rights to the curriculum, just about everything else you need to run a school and hired most of the Instructors. Check them out at http://

http://learni...12211805380241

They are doing the basic skills course and the traffic course as well.

Some of the senior instructors split off and set up Roadcraft Motorcycle Acadamy at http://www.roadcraftacademy.com/
They only do experienced rider courses - this will be the school to watch.
