LG Rumour
Yo RSer's I was just wondering if anyone has the LG Rumour thats available at Bell / Solo? How is it? Can you use mp3 ringtones or did they lock it?

basicly all phones from all providers are locked but one way or another there is a hack

I've tried the hack methods for mp3 ringtones that are all over google... but it seems to work for the US providers for the LG rumor... but it doesnt god damn work for the Solo one..

Goods:
-Pretty small/thin (considering its a txt phone)
-Large Screen
-Keypad [Easy to use]
-Pretty basic phone?
-Good speakerphone
-Pretty long battery life if you don't charge...
-No shutter sound


Bads:
-The side slider to the keypad unlocks the phonelock... so if you put on the keypad lock and it's in your pocket and it accidently slides a lil then your whole keypad will be unlocked and havoc may occur.
-No, god damn, mp3 ringtones...
-Has a 2.something headphone jack....
-Solo hides these random titles in the menu's and if you press to see what they are.. it turns out to be the LG Mobile Browser and starts connecting...hopefully they won't charge for that.

Overall.. I would try the phone before purchasing it? I definately have gotten used to it in at least a week or so...if you want more info on specifics of the phone just pm me.

Other than that... i'm still trying to figure out how to put mp3 ringtones

Have you tried using Bitpim?
It worked with Venus when it was just released in Canada.

is there an option on this phone that allows you to mark text messages as unread? My Ericsson has that option but I can't find it on this phone. Thanks
