My fido plan was expiring this upcoming month and I called fido to see if they could giv me a better deal here's what I got:
250 daytime mins
Free evenings/weekends after 5pm
Unlimited txt
incoming free
Free fido2fido/rogers
100 canadawide longdistance mins
1gb data
All this comes to $79 taxes in

Today Fido customer relations gave me this:

=52.50 + tax
And the rep said she did not extend my contract for this plan.

on another note, the reps told me that she can only give me 1 credit on an invoice and there is a $5 credit and a $10 credit.
Does anyone else on their invoice have 2 by any chance?

My old fido plan was a retention plan and I got 2 credits..
200 + Unl. E/WE + 1000 F2F 20.00
Credit: Monthly credit of $10 -10.00
Credit: Monthly credit of $5 -5.00
Value pack 16.00
9-1-1 Emergency Access Fee 0.50
System access fee 6.95
If you don't get a plan you like hang up and try again. Maybe try close to closing time and it really helped that I'm indecisive by nature so the lady kept offering me something better.

as far as I know it's not the number of credits, more so the amount..
i think they can't credit you more than what your bare voicemail price is .. [ask them for a breakdown of prices]
my voiceplan is $17.50 so they can only credit up to $15 and not $20 [5 dollar increments maybe ?]
i'm not too sure about this though..

i got 2 years left on a 3 year contract.. thing is i was with them for a good 4-5 years before that and my contract sucks ass.. suppose ot be 40 after taxes but always endsu p being 70-90$
is it possible for me to still go through retentiions and change my contract or try n get a better deal?
like even if i still have 2 years left and threaten to leave them for a better offer from another company you think that would work?

I'm kind of in the same situation as Vansterdam.
I have about a year and a half left on my contract, is it possible that I can go through retentions? or is it better off that I wait until my contract expires?
I'm kind of tired of paying $90/month on my cellphone bill.

my contract expired last year March so i was just going Month to month ever since.
After talking for about 45 minutes to the CR

CID, Enhanced Voicemail, 2500 Text Combo
Unilimited Network calling
Evenings and weekends
comes to 65.08 including taxes and SAF
breaksdown to:
Standard voice + data package - 50

Upgraded to BB 9700 for 199 + 35 activation
gave me a 45$ one time credit for the month of February

I need some help. I am with another cell company and they want a bill from a 'competitor'. I told them my friend has a good plan with Fido and that they were offering the same. He said fax him a copy.
I know I'm asking a lot, but what I need is page 3 of a bill. Name, address, phone number and account number ARE NOT NEEDED. I have adobe and can be edited out.
IN RETURN, I am willing to send a copy of mine which is ALSO pretty good and includes:
200 Local Min, 100 Long Distance, 5pm nights & wkds, My 5, Unlim Incoming, Text 250.
All for $22 TAXES and SAF INCLUDED
So anyone that can help please do. spammin@ymail.com

Wouldn't really offer me a retention plan as I was on one of their "new plans" already which didn't have the SAF 
but I think I ended up with an okay deal
-100 mins
-unlimited network calling
-unlimited early evenings and weekends
-unlimited local text messaging
-150mb data
-caller ID
first 3 months free works out to about $42 dollars a month
This is renewing for 2 years btw, but no phone | |
