she was willing to offer my plan to me for no contract, but minus the caller ID and early evenings and weekends... i figured being locked in for another 2 years won't kill me..

putting up my retention plan for sale if anyone interested

- unlimited local calling anywhere in canada
- 2500 text
- caller id
- voicemail
- no saf
- no contract
- $40 + tax a month

pretty much same deal as wind always talk plan + text addon but no network/customer service wait issues and dont have to buy a new AWS phone.

no. it means if you go to toronto, you get to call any local toronto number for free. If you go to Dawson creek, you get to call local Dawson creek number for free.

The one ur thinking is Nationwide Calling.

how long have you been with fido? My contract is up in approx 6 months, and I've been with fido for 2 years at end of contract (i was with rogers for 6 years). Is it possible for me to get a similar contract and a deal on a iphone 3gs? or is it not possible because i haven't been a customer long enough.

will prolly scam you and deny lol. and why would you sign a contract? DONT! if you want an iphone. get one off ebay/craigslist. DO NOT SIGN CONTRACTS NOW or you'll screw urself in the largest price reduction competition in canadian cell service history lol.

Currently paying $50 for my plan before taxes and contract doesn't expire till a year from now but was just wondering

Is it worth it to go through the retention department or whatever when it's time to renew? My term is 2 years and I'd love to stay with them unless I'm convinced to switch to Wind

Just got off the phone with Fido. Told them Wind is offering $150 for switcher, and that I will be switching over. I was then told a long story about how Wind sucks compared to Fido, and then asked what I wanted in a plan. I already knew which plan I wanted so I told him what I needed.

$17.50 no SAF, no hidden extra fees.

Unlimited evenings and weekends at 5pm

$5 200 SMS

$6 Call Display with Name Display
-$6 credit for above.

$30 6GB iPhone Data (from previous plan)

$17.50+$5+$30=$52.50+12%=$58.80

I could negotiate for a $5 credit for the 200 SMS, but I did not have much room to negotiate because I was not renewing my contract. If I said I wanted to renew my contract then I am sure my bill can be much cheaper.

I could also drop the $30 6GB data plan for the $20 flex data plan.

Then it'll be less than $45 before tax. In fact, it'll be $42 total after tax.

Yes. Call and tell them you want to cancel. When asked why, mention Wind and how they are offering $150 per new customer. Mention how their plans are attractive.
