I got an order confirmation from Fido on Friday when I ordered it though !_!

UPS delivered my iPhone on Monday... and then Fido emailed me another "Backorder Notification" on Friday. Interesting.

Is that note there permanently, or does it go away with time or can it be replaced with positive/neutral notes?

What does it take to get in touch with fido retentions? Can I just call them for a hardware upgrade? they seem to be the only place who has a continuous daily flow of stock of iphone 4's

So finally extended my plan today. I basically got the $50 unlimited calls/texts in Canada/US and VVM and finally got the 32gb ip4. Funny thing is my brother called retentions and got this exact deal so he calls me up and tells me to call ASAP so I call and it turns out the rep on the other end was the same person that helped my brother, lol. The rep couldn't stop laughing and kept saying "wow". He was extremely friendly and I don't know if this part of the deal but he decided to give me $75 bonus Fido dollars for next month.

I got my order confirmation on Friday... Haven't gotten my UPS info yet.. :(

i had the old Fido-2-Fido plan for $25, 5 for caller ID, plus SAF, 911 and tax = $45+ due to me texting to non-fido users as well. my contract will end May 2011.

If you read the 24hrs newspaper, you'll notice an advertisement from Wind Mobile selling unlimited calling, texting and caller ID for $25. I used that as leverage and negotiated into the new plan. Then I used the "I'm a poor student" reason to get a $5 dollar credit, and got another $5 credit by agreeing to a new 2-year plan.

i don't mind being stuck for another 2 years, Fido's been good to me.

Hey guys... for those that got an iPhone 4 through retentions, you had to get a new three year contract, right?

But did the three year contract begin on the day you ordered your iPhone 4, or is the three years an extension to your existing contract?

I'm with Rogers, and I know when I ordered my iPhone 4 through retentions, the new three year contract started on that day.

But my brother in law ordered his iPhone 4 through Fido retentions a few days ago, and for whatever reason his new three year plan is added to his existing contract, not replacing it. So essentially his contract now ends in 2014.

Is that normal or Fido, or is that strange?
