i guess things changed. when they registered me as an authorized user, they asked for my birthday too

when you call retentions, it changes your current plan, usually it takes you to renew, which would allow for u to obtain a better retention plan, but it is possible to obtain a retention plan without renewing and adding options to your current contract

btw I can confirm 611 extension 243 I believe gets you to retention just like the direct number

i have exactly one year left on my contract, but im up for renewal of a new phone and contract if i wanted to, does anyone know if I could get a good plan?

I tried to call in, but the bitch wouldn't budge she offered me a "loyalty" plan which was $20 w/ 150 daytime minutes, free evenings and weekends. And that was it... i wouldve signed it if she included unlimited text and caller ID.

I will sign a three year contract w/ the iphone and add a data plan on top too if i could get that $20 plan.

same thing happened to me... exact same plan. I was looking for the iphone4 as well. I think you just have to call another time and hope its someone that's nicer and will budge =)

nope i didn't... im probably going to call back in a few days. If i cant get a better offer, i'll wait for white iphone 4 to hit the market before trying again

honestly, if i cant get a better plan tmrw, i might just do the $25 dollar plan they have right now in stores:

$25 (100 minutes, free evenings/weekends, unlimited text) + $25 Data Plan + $7 (Caller ID) + tax = $63.84 per month

BUT HOPEFULLY i can.

Just renewed my plan today since my ends in November.

2 year contract for $25 a month with 100 daytime minutes (free evenings and weekends), CID and unlimited text with a free phone. Tried to get the guy to give me more freebies but he wouldn't budge...even told him I was planning on switching over to Wind and didn't really give me a break.

At least the plan I switched to is much better than what I have right now. I guess I'm satisfied.

Anyone been able to have Fido reset their monthly data usuage or to cut it off? Kind of hard to keep track since I'm on the Flex data plan.
