when i went to activate my iphone at apple store, the employee called fido to activate it and the csr told him that my plan was $55 before tax but i was given $50 before tax...then after some talking the csr says IT IS $50 cause i have a $5 credit but it expires next october? wtf fido....keep getting fucked over and over again...if i knew this was gonna happen i would've switched to mobilicity.

Well, if your plan is over next october (1 more year on contract), I can see why the credit is only there for another year. However, prior to your HUP, you should've negotiated a better plan as well as locking in whatever credits you have.

Hopefully you'll be able to resolve this...

Ya, Fido can't offer better deal even I had been with them for so long.. so I switched to mobilicity too.. so far, I'm happy with mobilicity, no drop call , just no reception inside concrete building / underground parking.. other than that.. their voice + data are ok . hopefully they will improve the reception inside building and expand its coverage zone in the future.

wait... so you have to add $10 more on top of the 6gb data to have bbm? thats bull shit cuz i have the 6gb and when i told them im using a blackberry now. they changed and said okay, because i have the 6gb data plan, i have unlimited bbm and social networking.

yeah she said in order to get free bbm, you have to use city fido as part of your plan. she told me city fido + 6gb was going to be $62 + tax :fuckthatshit:

Hmmm I can only see this happening if the "new" plan had credits slated on for one year. If that is the case, I don't see any "wrong doing" perse.

The rep offered you the $30Basic plan for you're voice on that's on the website// 200mins + unlimited incoming + Unl EW 5pm + unl text and a $30Retention Value Pack // 500MB + CD + VM + Unl text // picture/vid msg + bonus of 50mins x 36months. So technically it comes to $60 but because that value pack they added on for ya already had unlimited msging as well, its automatically discounted to $55 a month, and the rep was nice enough to add another $5Credit for the duration of you're contract making it $50.

TBH it's gonna be as good as it gets as there's no way they can send you out the iphone4s for any cheaper.

If you get you're bill, i would call back and get the Hardware Upgrade Fee Waived (assuming the first representative never told you about it. If they didnt document that they told you, fido usually waives it for the customer but if its been documented that they have allowed you to know, then they prob wont as they know you're bluffin to cancel)

Yes. Fido still offers the 6GB for $30. The only thing is that you either already have to have a data commitment or you would have to resign you're commitment for another 2-3yrs. They do not have the option just to add it as a month to month though. But if you're already under a data commitment, it could just replace you're current data contract with the 6GB so ur commitment doesn't change
