I got the same call from Fido today for the offer. But I stuck with my existing plan because 250mb data is not really enough, and tethering wouldn't work. Quote:

Has anyone used wind's $29 promotion as leverage? If you did, what were you offered? I want to sign for two years with a plan that is $30 or less and get a gnex using wind as leverage so i want to see your guys' experiences. |

goddam csr put a note on my account saying to not give me any further credits. I know this because the last time i called, the lady told me that some guy put that on my account and she gave me some extra stuff anyways (although it wasnt enough so i didnt sign). I could tell that that guy was in a bad mood so i ended it quickly but can't believe he still put that on my account... You guys think i can lower my offer any further? Current offer is the all-in-one $40 plan with $5 credit, 50 additional minutes, waived HUP fee. If i drop a few things from the plan (video messaging, canada-wide calling), will they agree to lower the price? |

The only movement you have is really is to get them to give you credits. To my knowledge they'll be able to credit you anywhere from 50%-100% of the cost of the add-on's based on your tenure and what you contributed to the company your with. To get beyond that will require a supervisor and generally at that point they will call you back as it goes well above the CSR's paygrade. If you screwed up with the CSR or get blacklisted, there isn't much you can do about it unless it was placed their accidentally. |

fucking ridiculous. was told i would have a 5 dollar credit with my $40 all in one plan. signed up, month later i get my bill today, with no mention of a $5 discount says there's no record of me calling, only a record of me agreeing to the contract of $40. what the fuck? the only thing I could think of is my line was under my moms name, and at the same time of the contract i moved under my own line (same number). He said he could not look at any history and there's nothing he could do. :seriously: Is there anything I can do? |
^ everytime you call rogers before hanging up get a reference number , agent name , agent code and write shit down. use that afterwards. learned it from Fido wayyy back in the day |
