Got me excited and wanted to switch my plan but the $57 is only available with a 2 year agreement. So for people who originally signed a 3 year agreement and still under that contract, you can't switch to this plan.

So after Fido messed up my 5$ credit, i complained to the CCTS website that shenmecar posted. Fido got back to me in a couple days and head management was able to find out that the history of my 5$ credit was put under my mothers name, and not transferred under to my new line. They honored it in the end, but was still irritating as fuck

glad it worked out in the end.

I have pretty much the same plan with 100 bonus mins (must be renewed)
voicemail and unlimited text canada wide + 100 US texts

for 67 taxed in at rogers, wondering if I should fucking switch out from that scam hole to fidos..

^ Trust me, Fido isn't better than Rogers. I'd rather stick with Rogers.

But for Fido, called in 8x and requested multiple managers(no one ever called me back) and the best offer I got was $57 for 1GB and $65 for 6GB. Horrible horrible service from Fido, sent in a letter to the OOP and hope I get a call back on Monday.

Edit: The plan from MeowMeow is pretty good, that's what I was pretty much aiming for, for my second line but haven't even gotten a offer even close to that..

It's Canada wide. Just SMS not mms tho.

Things I've said:

-Wind is cheap. Both of my parents have it and reception works fine at all the places
-I'm cheap student. Need to save money.
-You guys don't have any phones I want (which was true I got iphone5 and sold it)

Don't jump right to the end and say you are canceling
Give them bit of your side of story and ask them what they can do for you & negotiate

I was paying $42.50 with 500MB before this plan. I just told them I was looking to cancel and want to know how much it is, what I wanted(6GB) and they worked around it. Granted it took me 3 calls, offered $56 with 6GB than the 2nd rep offered the same thing(as they said it's their "best" offer) and the 3rd rep, asked what I want and told him I'd like to keep it around $47 since I was offered 6GB before for an extra $5. He came back and said "is $48 alright?" which I instantly took LOL

Would I be able to get the iphone 5 16gb for 179 if I get this plan??

You can still use the smart plan with an iPhone 5 though if you work around it.

Either sign up for month to month and buy an iPhone 5 outright, or sign the two year agreement, and sell whatever phone you get from them and pay the difference for the iPhone.

Yeah, smart plans are for androids, and max plans are for iphone. U can see androids only require 2 year (smart) and iphone require 3 year (max).

I just got that plan though, on a new activation. Got a Gnex for $0. Now Im just waiting 3 months before calling retentions for creditzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Muahahahaha

If you get the $57 plan from PC mobile at a Superstore, PC mobile will eat the $50 cost for the HTC one, and give you $100 PC gift card credit. =)

Hey guys not sure if this is the right place to ask but;

My god sister bought iPhone 4S from Richmond centre fido a month ago
Her phone has been having issues lately so she took it to RC fido whom told her to take it to Apple
When she took it to apple, apple told her something inside wasn't legit? Hence voiding warranty
But she never got her phone fixed before nor replaced anything and no it wasn't one of those refurbished ones
So that means RC fido sold her a fucked up phone.
What can she do about this situation ?

Go to another Apple store and double check. I find the PC Apple is more helpful than Oakridge and Metro. Just my experience though. Never went to the RC one.

Did she JAILBREAK the phone?

Apple rep might have saw the Cydia app and said the "inside" (software) wasn't legit. They do not give warranty to jailbroken iDevices.

Connect it to itunes and either restore to a pre-jailbroken backup if you still have it.

Otherwise, do a restore from interwebs and it will download a fresh copy of IOS6 to it. Go back to apple and they wont know you had jailbroken it before.

LoL... Thats probably what happened, jailbroken phone, warranty void.

You probably will have luck getting it warranted elsewhere. I doubt there is a log that checks if you been to a specific location before.

No it wasn't jail broken. They said part of the device wasn't original Apple product

How long have you been with fido? I'm kinda in the same boat cept my plan currently is $50 w/500mb and I think my credit expires this month. Gonna try what you did and see if I can get 6gb for $50 Lol

That current plan is with Rogers. I've been getting NOTHING with Fido right now, all the plans I've been offered is $55+

Rogers, about 8 years and Fido 3 years.

my talk plan is 17.50 but im paying $30 for my 500mb data

im just looking to get the data part adjusted. just got an s3 and i think $30 for 500mb is retarded.

what are the data pkg options?
