So which store is a good place to buy online with fast shipping (1 week) and not located in BC, so I only have to pay 5% tax ?
I gotta buy a full gear and saving money now is top priority.

I gotta buy a full gear and saving money now is top priority. | You can buy from HockeyGiant.ca They ship out of Toronto so you can only pay the GST.
But if you're buying full gear I would assume you've never bought most of the equipment before and I would suggest going into your local shop to get fitted instead. The prices online for all Canadian stores are pretty similar so you're not really saving much (just the PST) if you were to buy out of province.
With the weak Canadian Dollar it's not really that worth it to buy from the States either. Buy local.

But the store owner was helpful and knowledgeable and it's a ma and pop shop essentially (his wife and kid were there too.) He also coaches minor hockey for the association I used to play in as a kid so I decided to buy some ONE90 elbows from him.
I know I could've gotten them for cheaper online but don't forget to support your LHS. I'm going to bring my skates in next time for a sharpening. I'll let you guys know how it goes. | Where's Midland Sports? I google mapped it but I can't find it.

It is opposite to Tracadaro's.
Ask for Adam, he is the owner and knows his stuff.

Ask for Adam, he is the owner and knows his stuff. | I always drive by there but I've never noticed them. I'll see what they have, it's about time I get some new gloves and I certainly don't mind helping out a mom and pop store.

^So I dropped by there and got my skates sharpened. Pretty good job, super friendly. $5 bucks for sharpening, I didn't ask if they had cards available as I wasn't sure if I was going to continue to go back, but I probably will since I frequent the area. I'd recommend trying them out if you're close by and see how well they do other people's skates.

you should also try out a source for sports shop on west broadway near alma ish i got my skates there looooong time ago before i bought my skates in japan. and i know what you mean by trouble finding skates.
i too have realy wide flat feet and a wide heel so i have to be picky with my skates. but i use to get bauer surpreme's 5000 in a 8EEE skate and then i went to Japan, and everything fit sooooo much easier. That store in the west side usually got the odd size skate if you still need to find a new pair.

TSB is open pretty late on work nights but not on saturday/sunday.
TLC is open on saturdays and I get all my stuff shipped there.

You can do that? hhmmmm
So for receiving address, just whatever the Letter Carrier is?
Do you need to call to let them know your shipping to them?

I get all my race tires and car parts sent there.
They charge $3 usd for each box though.

For sure, you will pay GST. Being a safety equipment, might be no PST.
Most of the time, they might not ask you to pay duty, but I guess if it was made in China or India, it might be 6-10%?
If the package is small, maybe ask them to send it to your house and you might not get taxed.
