Thats actually awesome about what you said about Thao; never thought of that. Although, i wouldn't use the word retribution....more like forgiveness/closure.

I think "reparation" is the word you're both looking for Or maybe "atonement".

I just watched this movie last night.
Wow, pretty good drama movie. I'll probably be a horrible movie critic.
It seems I'm the only one that didn't notice any bad acting. Maybe I get too absorbed into a movie and forget to analyze acting aspects. Sue definately didn't look like her type of character though, such as a girl with that much confidence that would snap back at people.

Spoiler!

But damn... one part in this movie really made it difficult to watch... you guys know what i'm talking about.

Just watched this when I was flipping through the channels on the plane... Wow, such an amazing movie.

Same as above, I didn't notice any horrible acting as I concentrated on Eastwood's character development. Didn't expect the ending to be like this either...

Ezekiel 25:17. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

I had semi-high expectations for this that weren't met. Acting was weak, script was cliched and Clint didn't do anything he hasn't done in 10 other better movies. 4/10.

Wonderful movie, but I found it very low budget since Clint Eastwood is the only real "celebrity" and he directed it himself. It also only takes place in that ghetto, but I think they made the most of it.

I've never watched anything with Clint before, but I gotta say that I really enjoyed the movie. Anyone else notice how he sings the song during the credits?
