Go find a no-sign board in Singapore and eat Chilli crab. Heck, spend most of your time eating in Singapore. |

Japan: Tom, get a JR Rail Pass. You should be able to get one at any major travel agency in Vancouver. You can't buy one in Japan. It allows unlimited travel on the JR system: trains, intercity trains, subways, busses & ferries. It's about $300 per week. It's about a 3.5 hour ride by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Hiroshima - I highly recommend the Atomic Bomb Museum and Miyajima, a beautiful island famous for its big torii gate and deer. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...otos/bomb2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...otos/bomb3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...tos/garden.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...hotos/deer.jpg The temples in Kyoto are amazing, especially the Kinkakuji (The Golden Temple). Climbing Mt Fuji on New Years Eve to watch the sunrise from the summit on New Year's Day is a tradition. Tokyo is well, Tokyo. You can go to crazy Akihabara for electronics, or go to the Meji Jingu for tranquility. |

I'd thought I bump this thread. I'm planning a trip to vietnam preferbly nha trang, and halong way, so I told my brother that I was coming, and he freaked out like vietnam and i was going to die. How dangerous is it going? |
Tell your brother to go copulate himself. |
sorry was on the iPhone whn I was typing it. |
will make more sense when I get home. |
Vietnam very my favorite to visit so far! The people were very friendly, as long as you try to speak their language, they are willing to try and help you! Tourist support isn't beneficial to their countries survival, but they make some effort to see you are in good hands. I will definitely be returning to Vietnam again. If I plan another trip, I'm going to buy a bike (or rent) and ride it from the south to the north of Vietnam! |
Here is more about my travels! www.mananetwork.blogspot.com |

Just got back to Vancouver. I got questioned a little to much by Canadian customs. Where did you go? You went for a month but travelled through 5 countries, why? Was there someone with you! blah blah blah |

I thought the New Years Party scene sucked in HK though. HK's good for food and just chilling with friends, that's all. |
