What do we need to have to be a spectator? I don't have a car to drift, but I want to come and watch.

Admission is $6 for spectators.

Changed the number of drivers to 6 to increase track time for drivers.

Will be adding more practice days for others that are interested in getting out on the track.

You can find us at the Rev Scene meets at Tim Horton's on Blanchard. 9:00pm Fridays
for registration.

You want to charge spectators to come watch 6 guys practice drifting? I thought the idea was to create interest in the sport?

Approx 3 hours of practice for 6 drivers.
We are trying to keep fee's to a minimum. There is no money to be made here, this is all necessary for track use.

We don't really want a flood of free spectators coming into the event. As stated above drifting practice is for the drivers.

If people are so inclined to come check it out, (So far there is quite a stir of interest) they can help support our events by a small fee of $6.. Unless you would rather buy yourself a happy meal.

I apologize to those without an allowance.

No need to patronize those of us with no allowance. I was thinking more along the lines of spectators not having to pay at other amateur events held at western, especially practice sessions, and I'm curious why this would be any different. Seeing that you've limited it to only 6 drivers, I understand that you'll have to make up the rental fee somehow, an if you feel charging people to watch is what you need to do, then that's your prerogative. Just seems out of place, that's all.

In a nutshell. The track's not cheap.

Being the very first event we agreed on a price able of covering the overall costs, while maintaining a lower drivers fee.

Of course as interest peaks prices would naturally lower.

Thank you.
Somewhat confused. The title of the thread "Capital Drift" implies that it's covering the entire event. Spectators and participants. And the fact that spectators are mentioned and the price is given to spectate, that would also imply to me (I might be wrong), that this thread is also for spectators. But once again, it could be totally my bad and I missed the fact that this thread was created entirely to let drivers know when practice sessions are coming up.

Take the title as you want, but the fact remains:

$50 for drivers.
$6 for spectators.

If you're coming to spectate expect to see drivers practicing and not putting on their best show for the crowd. It is after all just a practice.

Any further question or comments regarding pricing can be directed to:

it.starts.with.d@gmail.com

Thank you.

Just a reminder to drivers:

Sign-up/fee due date is TODAY!

If you would like to drive on Saturday November 22nd you need to be signed-up and payed for by tonight!

If you would like to sign-up and don't make it for the 22nd we are currently booking for our next day; Saturday December 13th. There are only 6 drivers allotted and spots are going fast.

Also; due to the amount of drivers interested in coming out we are booking extra days! So let us know you're interested and we'll get you scheduled in!

See you at the track!

No problem. We will be having many future practice events.

All we need is a group of 6 drivers in order to book some track time. And we're always open for sign up. (:

Our email is it.starts.with.d@gmail.com where we will keep everyone posted on upcoming events.

6 cars is mainly for maximizing track time for each driver.

Your track time would naturally be cut in half but your more then welcome to share a car with a friend.

A very successful turnout. Good job to all the drivers that participated. It can only get better from here!
