08.09.snow.season I gave in. I was going to take a hiatus this season due to lingering injuries from last season, but covered physio takes care of that. So... I bought new gear, again. I got 2 passes, again. So who's got what this season, and where you going to rep your gear? |

seasons pass to grouse and 5 day edge card to whistler as for gear all the same from last season except for a new pair of dragon DX goggles |
same gear as last year. who needs new gear when i've got new moves? :spin: |

I have another sitting of filler around the blue...going to be another session of white around there. then another sitting for greywashing the black outline, so when it's all said and done, you will only see the color and the shape. this season is officially my 20th year snowboarding. I kinda wanted to do that ink around my man tit for a few years now. |
lol Vangruver, you must really love the snow lol havrnt been riding in a few years but i've got brand new gear given to me from last year so hopefully get out a few times this year.. My main snow toy: http://variablerentals.com/images/CAT%20M600.jpg |
ANyone know a good local shop that can bevel edges? I bought a new board this year and dont wanna get hung up on rails. |

What you want to do is to get a file and apply vinyl or electrical tape to one side of it. make it thick, roughly half a cm. Take a permanent marker and mark the base edge, the area of the edge that is along side of the running surface/base. What you are doing is making the marker for you to see how much of the edge you are beveling. Take that file you applied tape to, and put the tape side on the base of the board, that tape has then angled your edge at an aproximate 1-2 degree base bevel. Run the file along the markered portion of the base and you will see from the metal you remove that you are then beveling the edges. very simple and very easy to do, plus you still have side edge to use for the harder snow conditions. |
got a seasons pass to sun peaks and just using the same equip as last year. Opening day is SATURDAY and there's NO snow there.. this is very saddening. :( I would love to check out Revelstoke's new hill but don't know how likely that is. |
same gear but got spy bandits from lastyear im contemplating new boots and bindings any suggestions? |
