Edit: Just do you dickfucks don't get your panties in a knot, I'd like the N97 or any other "flagship" camera phone to be table to produce a dynamic range similar to that of a full fledged SLR camera. However they achieve that is up to them. Until then, megapixels on cameras don't mean shit if the quality can go fuck a goat.

Clearly, that option is beyond our technological means, atm. Good sensors and lens materials just don't fit nor come cheap to put onto a phone. Oh wait...it's just a phone, I totally forgot about that...

That sensor is one of the best ones out there. Like Alphamale says, megapixels mean little when the quality (and physical size too) of the sensor sucks.

i still think nokia's lagging a bit behind in terms of camera "functions". Samsung/Lg are putting out face/smile recognition, slo-mo vid, etc etc. and nokia is still at its old camera with the same features. don't get me wrong, nokia still produces EXCELLENT quality pics, but i think they should step it up in terms of the extra goodies that alot of cam phones are coming out with now. i think BlackV62K2 is just getting bored of the same old nokia camera
