It's a 2-way street with every phone~
I personally love it and am close to purchasing one!
Some craigslist adds came out with the phone now, lowest i've see was $850-890? I heard purchasing from the nokia USA site is best way to go (like $700-800 Canadian) but they don't ship to Canada >< Anyone know a way around it? I read earlier there are shipping hot spots you can send the phone to and drive down to pick it up yourself? Any more info on this? or is there a much easier and fast way with grabbing this phone for a relatively good price?
Sorry for any repeated or stupid questions! Thanks so much for the help and info!

When you head back up after picking up your package, the border guard will ask you what the monetary value of the goods your bringing back are. On one hand, you can declare everything you're picking up and the guard will decide whether to tax you on the items. On the other, you can choose to lie and declare nothing, or a low amount, in the hope of getting taxed less, but if they find out you didn't declare everything, you'll incur penalties on top of the tax.

^ Oh ok. Cool thanks for the heads up!

touch pro 2 > n97

sad to say i was super excited for the n97 release, but the way i see it now, its only but a nokia 5800 + bigger screen+ widgets + better camera + keyboard, nothing more... and all for a whopping $600 more...

woob 06-18-2009 09:27 PM

actually it's $300 more than the 5800.

atrin 06-18-2009 09:34 PM

htc touch pro + bigger screen = touch pro 2. For a higher price, and IMO touch pro looks better, while touch pro 2 is following the n97 screen tilting. Oh, no led flash, battery life not improved, left out the magnetic stylus.

+keyboard is already what sets the 5800 and n97 apart. Add 32gb, the widget/homescreen, camera, processor, screen size/response, and battery upgrade.

I'm still excited to get it. I don't see the tp2 as competition. I really like the omnia hd, but no 3g, and lack of qwerty.

Nokia had it on their website earlier this week for 535US with a promo code, I tried to order a couple but it kept saying my shit was declined, they were having a lot of transaction problems.

I just read the whole review, and now the N97 doesn't seem that good, aha
