Please turn on your lights... I mean head lights and tail lights
Even if it's cloudy or raining in the daytime, turn on your lights and don't rely on your daytime running lights.
I always turn mine on, and it's more safe for you and drivers behind or in front of you.

What was crazy was that last night I was driving in Burnaby at 11PM and it was RAINING and a woman in a Civic didn't turn on her lights! no head lights and tail lights..
it kinda pissed me off
should have honked her.
I've seen many of these people like they want to be invisible...

It's the trend of having "Optitron" (or whatever they call it) instruments, where they're backlit by LED's or whatnot, so it seems like the headlights are on when they're really not.

I see a lot of people driving at night without their lights on, especially in richmond...I also see a lot of people drive with their highbeams on, do they think those are their actual headlights?

yeah.. it sucks even more when some people have astigmatism. with high beams it totally blinds the shit out of me. damn fuks.

some stupid manufacturers turn the headlights and the dash lights on automatically when it senses that its dark but it doesn't turn on the rear lights...stupid..

you should blame the new dash design...like the old lexus and new impreza, the instrument cluster will light up even you don't have your headlights/taillights on

I TOTALLY agree. I always see cars without lights on and it just really pisses me off. Many times, people only turn their light switch once thinking that their headlights are not in the daytime running lights. Their interior middle console lights turn on but their headlights are still on daytime running lights. I see this all the time on the newer civics because the two circular lights are daytime lights and the rectangle lights are for night time driving. It is even worse when they accidentally pushed the light switch foward into highbeam when the car is off and once they turn on the car and flip the light switch twice, it will go into highbeam. As a result, they switch it backwards once and they drive at night with only daytime running lights on. At least their taillights are turned on but it still pisses me off knowning that they are driving around at night with their daytime running lights. haha dunt know why.

i dont ride asses but suvs are quite tall and i feel bad when i drive my SUV cause i usually drive a sports coupe and i hate that too.

Imagine this situation, you're in a left turn lane in the middle of a highway with no stop (intersection) lights, going to make a left turn. It's raining and dark. Someone who doesn't or forgets to turn on their lights is oncoming. Isn't that pretty dangerous for both cars? Don't they (oncoming driver) think it's scary if cars can't see them? It's highly unlikely they have Takumi like skills..

Next time you see someone without their lights on or are high beaming you, honk them..

You can thank the people who made the law to have Daytime running lights. If we didn't have DRL'S people would know their lights arn't on and you could ticket people for not turning their headlights on in the daytime but instead......

My lights are always on. I just leave my headlight switch on all the time. Then again, my lights are linked to my ignition so I never have to worry about turning them off.
