What the? you guys didn't like Flash Point? I thought that movie was so wicked. With the MMA stuff. I actually noticed Donnie Yen likes to do more free style fighting, and to me, it actually looks a whole lot realistic than some choreographed stuff you see from just about every other martial artist actor.

He just needs to add some more flare to his hair.

yip men was a great movie, it shadowed a few of the movie back from bruce lee's old plots. (standing up the japanese)
movie was great because the story line was decent and the acting by Donnie was bearable. They really did a lot of research for this movie. they consulted (yip men's son) in this movie. THe ONLY part that was not good abotu this movie was how they made Yip Men like a freaking country hero. Yip Men was simply a guy that loved Wing Chung and started his own practice.
Jet Li did a movie 2 yrs ago called FOK YUN GAP, now he was trying a country hero and a great martial artist. Yip Men was not even close to FOK YUN GAP.

It was also likely a metaphorical representation at how all the Chinese felt at the time of the Japanese occupation.

It looks like a real copy.... has a dvd holder with pictures and everything... its not like those behind the counter ones in a plastic wrap. If this is not the real copy. Im not sure what the real one is suppose to look like. Should it have holograms or something?

even with holders and everything, it is most likely not a legit copy.

haha, im not sure if there is even a place now in Vancouver where you can buy legit copies of movies. seems like every asian cd/dvd store carries the same thing. Like Yip Man for example. All the stores that have them are carrying the same version... I was looking for the real one and I checked all 3 stores that sell cd/dvds and they all carry the same version. So I dunno...

^ Unsure about those events. But MAL is the only Entertainment shop that sells all legitimate movies and music. If they did sell pirated movies then it was probably many many years ago.
