I saw this ad on a bus the other day, and thought nothing of it, since the last Donnie Yen movie I saw (Flash Point) was so bad.
But seeing this trailer, it looks like a cool old-school kung fu flick.

its alright, being a biopic and all....this is one that I'll wait for the faan baan dvd to come out and drop to $2.00......the torrent i dl'ed was in pretty good shape.

Donnie Yen on flash point was one of the few movies that does 'free style' wrestling in the HK market. We all know how we are so used to jacky chan fast fighitng punching in the face, btu Donnie Yen did a decent job introducing a new type of martial arts in flash point. (at least this is what other hongers thought)

The fighting itself in Flashpoint was cool, I liked how he incorporated some MMA and Wrestling moves in there. But there just wasn't nearly enough fighting, and we had to watch some REALLY fucking lame acting to get to the few good fighting scenes.

cool, getting a little tired of these "evil japanese" films tho (even though they make for great actions films)

edit: i thought flash point was good, story wasn't bad (considering whats coming out of HK these last few years)

this movie looks decent. i hope it does well in the box office and revives the genre.
hk movies are dead in the water due to piracy...gotta support some of the movies that at least put in an effort to appear decent
