Im using those $14 crappy tire wipers right now and every time they go... they skidder and make this horrible fucking wiping sound. They clean the windshield just fine... but they are noisier than a fucking train.

I want to return these Rain-x ones. The thing is I don't have the receipt but they are from walmart and they are usually pretty good with returns aren't they?

I agree with Alphamale tho. I think the 'performance' of the wiper may be due to the vehicle you are driving. Some wipers probably work better than others on certain makes of vehicles. Every windshield is a little different.

most likely, if ur wiper arm is pushing a wiper blade that is fairly long, then it has to spread that work across the longer blade, compared to a car that uses a shorter blade.

either way, have had my bosch for about 3months now, and so far so good, quiet, and wipes good. thats all i can ask.

Sorry don't mean to bump this thread, since this is the first thread that came up for the keyword bosch and windshield wipers.

How do you guys like your Bosch Icons so far?

Bought a pair for my EP3 for 52 bucks tax in.

Haven't gone out in the rain with them yet.

no not the washer fluid but that doesnt hurt and is cheap too. this is the original rain-x product...

http://www.rainx.com/Products/Windsh.../Original.aspx

this stuff works too, no buffing like the original product, probably not as effective but works fine for me...

moved on to bosch evolutions now from lordco. It's awesome in the rain. quiet and no streaks, but like all wipers regular maintenance is a must.

Was using the stupid crappy CT wipers for over a year or so, can barely see crap in the rain when they turn bad. Just went back to OEM. $9buxs per blade OEM, can't complain about that.

Costco's got these new style Michelin. They are $2 cheaper regular price, $11.99 vs $13.99. I will see how well they perform when it rains.

Edit: called the stealth http://www.pylonhq.com/products_mich..._details.shtml
