uploading contacts to iphone

i just got an iphone , whats the easiest way of uploading contacts from my old phone to this one ? thanks

copy them to the sim card
and then go to settings contacts and import sim contacts

is there any way to save contacts onto the sim card instead of phone on the iphone?

as far as i know there is no way to do that ..

saving on sim card than to phone sometimes mess up contacts with too many field; 1 with pic or notes. Best way is to sync without desktop either outlook express for window or Adress Book for Mac and than have it auto sync to the phone

damn such a hassle when you want to swtich phones, especially if they arent apple.

also remember to delete all your contacts when you sell your phone
