i got my deal through an auto broker my bro was friends with. paid 5Gs less for a brand new 07 SE Impreza.

Don't worry too much about the turbos on 08's. Subarus are built like tanks, and if you're not going to mod them, the warranty is solid.

Were you looking for an STi or WRX?

If STi, than any year will do. If WRX, stay away from the 08', only because in 09' they had a 40hp jump due to a new turbo.

If you go to Docksteader, talk to Geremy. He's a Nasioc member, and good guy.

But personally, I like Richmond Subaru. They aren't hard assed, north shore salesguys. They just want to move cars.

Wolfe's in Langley has a couple of 07' and 08' STi's on the lot, but then you'll have to deal with Wolfe.

check out www.nasioc.com and come around to the VIC section. Lots of info there, and a good place to start.

You're right, I got mixed up.
Geremy is at Specialty in N. Van, whereas Docksteader is the dealer near Marine Dr.

The motor issues seem to be with the build dates of 07/08 and 08/08

Why the 2010 Legacy will be here in a few weeks.

Model years have less and less to do with calendar year.
