Noob question...just want to know, IF this phone is 100% unlocked, will it be like those Docomo phone's where you need to cut sim card and stuff?

Nope, software unlock, so no need to cut the SIM and put on a hardware unlocker (that's the SIM hack) on to your SIM before putting it in the phone.
