The fifth season will commence on January 21, 2009 with a three-hour premiere consisting of a clip-show and two back-to-back new episodes. The remainder of the season will air on Wednesdays at 9:00PM Eastern/8:00PM Central . According to Lindelof, the season "is about why [the people who have left the island] need to get back". Also, season five will feature significantly fewer flashbacks and flashforwards.

EXcellent. i'm pretty excited, as long as they don't fuck it up with too much sentiment. and good, the flashbacks and flashforwards get tiresome after a while.

we all know it's flash forwards (or at least no more flash backs and all the flashbacks are all 'real time').
we all know they are goign to try to get back onto the island.

ohhhh.... watched the season finale again last nite. I like how they do those info clips on the bottom.... there is too much to remember from the show and everything ties into something...
