I dunno...it's kinda cool haha...wasn't there an F1 car back in the '70s or '80s with 6 wheels like that?
EDIT: found it... Tyrell from '77, I think.

It's a real car that's going into production.... Quote:
Italian company to produce 6-wheel car, Covini C6W, in 2009
You've heard of 4-wheel drive, how about a 6-wheel car?
That's what the Italy-based Covini Engineering - through a joint venture with PMI S.p.A. - is looking to create with the Covini C6W.
First conceived nearly 30 years ago, a prototype was unveiled during the 2004 Geneva Motor Show. But according to the Netherlands-based website, AutoWeek, the unique - and slightly bizarre - vehicle will go into production in 2009.
The Covini C6W will seat two, sport a 400 horsepower engine and hit speeds upwards of 300 km/h (about 185 mph to those of us in the States), or so Covini Engineering states on their website.
By utilizing six wheels, with four in the front, Covini claims the vehicle will be safer, feature better handling and offer a more comfortable ride.
To see more images of the car, visit http://www.coviniengineering.com/c6w/immagini.htm.

yeah that thing handles really good.
also it will give you really good braking performance.
the only reason Tyrell discontinued 6 wheel race car is because they had problem with suspension stability and durability.

^ No Tyrell didn't make sense because for it to work aerodynamically they have to use tiny wheels in front because it is an open fender car. The smaller front wheels mean that by having 4 regular sized wheels on other teams' race cars the other teams can achieve the same results with less wheels, brakes and cost rendering the 6 wheel concept ineffective.
on a street car though maybe you can enjoy the 6 wheel performance without the drawbacks.

I've recently watched a video at school involving such cars, there is a car being build right now that has 8 wheels, i do not remember what it is called, but its not the one posted in this thread. I'll provide more information if i find it.

Wasn't there a car like this back in like 2000 or something?
Also why is it more comfortable?
