weight gaining i'm 18 years old and about 5'9" and about.. 130ish pounds? my dad said he was even skinnier than me when he was my age... but i want to gain more weight... only thing i notice in my diet is i don't usually have any fruit? could that be the reason why i don't gain weight or jsut my genes? thanks |
The only way to gain weight is to take in more calories than you burn. If your naturally skinny and have a high metabolism you just need to eat and eat. Berz out. |
you need more meals maybe. you should try to eat every 3 hours. doesnt have to be HUGE meals just.. enough lol |
you must be a hard gainer then, but yea like they've said you need to eat more total calories in a day and eating about 5-6 meals a day is good too. are you supplementing with protein powders or anything? that might help, but what you put in your body(what you eat) is the key. eat stuff with higher carbs and proteins. |
i like jakobi's weight-gaining recommendation of poultry and milk. |
Well if it makes you feel better, I'm 30, 6'1" and only 155-160 lbs. Gotta eat multiple, frequent meals to gain weight. |
i think i ahve a super high metabolism or something, cause i don;t excercise at all... i jsut eat, sleep, go to school... and eat and sleep...i work... but i don't like run around or anything |
Your not eating enough then. If thats the only activity your doing your def. not eating enough food. Take in as many calories as you can. Go get some high calorie weight gain powder and have a couple shakes a day on top of your normal eating. Berz out. |
yea try a weight gainer from a supplement store if you cant eat enough per day.. |
The mass gainers that you get from supplement store really help to gain weight quickly. However, if you drink the shakes while you aren't exercising, you will gain fat. I would recommend eating small frequent meals throughout the day. |
yeah like ym arms and legs are really skinny i jsut need to put on some more weight i can lose the fat, i'm not a slacker when it comes to excercising if i want to |
Remember you also need to be hitting the gym hard to shock your muscles into growth. You can't just sit back. Here's a little inspiration. i'm 5'11 and weigh 164 pounds. 9 months ago I was the same height but weighed 132 pounds. With hard work, determination, and a solid fitness/eating routine, you can do whatever you set your mind to. |
yeah i think i will get the extra calorie powder or something... any recommendations... i think i'll get a vanilla flavoured one and drop it in some milk YUM! :) |
chicken breast 3 times a day. add carbs. go to the gym. thank later. |
EAS Mass Factor is not bad. Remember to take it immediately (within 30 min) after your workout. You'll see the results. Good luck! |
Just eat more Squats and milk |
dont go on pills or weight gainers. just stay natural. |

squat n milk is an old school routine and it's very effecting on gaining weight on a short period of time you don't freakin just do sissy squat and drink 2 cups of milk a day.... do 20 rep squats...squat you normally do 10 but do 20...its very painful....this will show how strong your mental toughness is... drink a gallon of milk a day....
