| taiwan for CNY for the first timer
Hey guys, I've searched and found some things about tw and places like shi lin n ulic's room 18, but what else is there to do?
I'll be going with a friend, and i'm not sure she wants to just see legs.
I'll be there from jan 24-jan28 for the new year then back to korea.
any input is appreciated.

no not really. unless you're talking about cheap nightmarket stuff. clothes are generally the same or more expensive (brand names), electronics not that much cheaper anymore.
lol only thing I like to do in taipei is party.
room18
barcode
luxy
primo
shilin night market
check out the 101 tower
uhh CKS memorial hall, SYS memorial hall.
dan shui
food

legs

there aren't any bettle nut girls in taipei, but if u go in the outskirts or smaller towns for sure you'll see em.

First time going to taipei also...
If I'd only got time for one place to go, which club would be best? room18, luxy, plush? Man...if I could bring someone along, I'd bring Ulic even though I dunno him. He's like the ultimate taipei club guru from reading previous threads.
Things to watch out for? Special local drinks to try?

actually wed nights are pretty busy everywhere since it's ladies night and ladies get in free, everywhere obviously.
i've never been to primo but that's the new "big" higher end club (not so much for locals, but for abc's cbc's and ppl with money hah).
lol you can still bring me :P just pay for the flight and I'm there! haha!!!
special drinks... eh, just ... bubble tea? i duno man
taiwan beer gold label. make sure it's gold.
lots of food to try

+1 for ladies night at luxy! i had the luxury of living at the busiest intersection in taipei for a week (zhong xiao east and dun hua south)..which is a few blocks from my old house. Luxy's like few doors down and there's literally hot girls all around. Too bad i was sick as fuck after the first night.
i never got a chance to go room18..
primo's more of a lounge..pretty nice nevertheless.
dont go to plush..it sucks.
My fave place in taipei is the Guang Hua Digital Plaza...best place in the world to buy computer parts and small electronics (camera..mem card, laptops). They just built a new building too..it used to be almost nightmarket styled. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guanghua_Bazaar

| Haha! God bless Taiwan girls!
Near Room18 are a bunch of other clubs. That whole area 信義區 is an awesome place.
Could also check out "Xi men Ting" 西門丁!
