Noel's class is fairly easy, you go to class, participate, his midterms are very fair.
Class average for the first midterm was around 70 and he said it was low.
He engages you very well by asking questions and making sure you don't go to sleep.

Thanks a lot man. I'm actually looking forward to take his class!
What does it seem like his midterms focus more on so far (textbook or lecture)?

^BigBaddie, I will send it to you in a couple days if you still want it cause I'm not using my own laptop right now
What do you guys think about my potential schedule? This is all on Tuesday/Thursday
ECON 2296 - Park 1030-1220
MATH 2310 - Shahrokh 1230-220
FMGT 2293 - Heathcote 230-420
STAT 1181 - TBA 430-620
MARK 1115 D. Michael online
Is this course load manageable to attain a good average (at least a 75%) if I study a lot? Or is it too much?

^ Yeah it's totally manageable. I've taken 5 courses a few times with a B/B+ average before.

Did you guys do your "elective" in the first semester to get it over with or did the harder courses first than do elective in the second term? I'm in a dilemma

I don't have a major yet. I did whatever I wanted. Turns out I like artsy Business like International or Law specialty so thats how I decided what to major in. I took a bunch of courses and electives that I'm sure will not count towards my major. Aiming at UVIC business if I can, or SFU Crim realistically speaking of course.

TOS'd, keep working hard man. School's a bi*ch | i talk to a counsiller and he tells me what courses to take. I'm going down 2 paths (comp sci/Nursing) so he got me covered on what to take.

I've been helping a friend and my sister with their registration and can't help but realize how hard it is for a first year to get all the courses that they want/need at times. Just the luck of the draw, I guess.

ENGL 1129 vs 1130 - opinions? I opted for 1129.
I would have taken it last spring, but I had to re-do 1127 because I withdrew from Lukes' 1127 in the fall. They didn't offer 1128 last fall otherwise I would've taken that lol

I'm taking 1129 in the spring. Casey is pretty cool. Not lenient at all with late assignments.
edit:
anyone have experience with student loans?
applied 2 weeks ago and sent in my declaration last week... how long does it take if I'm requesting for september?
I'm quite broke and could use some help.

Sometimes she just rushes through the material to cram in a lot of things if we're behind (quite a bit of the time), so it's better to take her if you're strong in stats just in case.
