Hi, I'm going to be a first year student at Langara starting this fall and I'm looking for some help. I'm thinking of transferring to UBC sometime in the future and was wondering where I can find a list of electives that are accepted in UBC for economics. Should I talk to a counselor at Langara for this? I'm kind of stressing out about this and I would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

No you should definetly not talk to a counsiller at langara.
but in all seriousness, what do you think the best thing to do is?
You said it in your post.
why stress? If your 20 or younger, you should be happy.

^ LOL I would going to fail him, but that would be mean.
Use the BC Transfer Guide, they've been stressing it like forever in high school. UBC lists which courses they would accept for economics, now find the equivalent with the guide.

Thanks for the replies. I know it's kind of a redundant question but I just wanted to make sure. The counselor at my high school was never helpful so I guess I was a little skeptical.

Sometimes she just rushes through the material to cram in a lot of things if we're behind (quite a bit of the time), so it's better to take her if you're strong in stats just in case. | Thanks for the heads up! How do you find the difficulty level of her tests and assignments (are they fair)? Which Stats are you taking? :P

She has printouts of notes but there's no solution or guide on how to do the questions she includes. Also she gives an assignment + quiz like almost every class, so it's very good in helping you review. There's 2 midterms + 1 final for her.
I'm taking STAT 3223.
Hope that helps you. =]

The quality offered is the same because they have to meet standards of the BC transfer guide.
