to all newbs at langara, all materials must be reviewed by urself to be successful in college and university.
everything is self learned going to class is waste of time imo unless prof covers material that is not in the book

Yeah lectures are a waste of time.
It's so stupid when the prof tells the class "if you miss more than 20% of classes u gon' get 0". I had one of my prof say that, then another prof said 30%, and another said 35%.
The fuck.

yea, i feel like my philosophy class is a waste of time but hey, going to class benefits better than not going going right? Atleast i get something inside my head even if it is one sentence.

Thats what she told me for applying for Sauder and Beedie atleast. Not sure bout anything else but feel free to correct me if im wrong cause getting info from ONE counsellor is not that great

thanks man, I guess i gotta check up on that too then. I wish i can just travel back in time and take all the science courses and kick myself on the back of my head for being dumb and take the easy route to graduate.

how is chinese 1115? is it like after grade 12 mandarin or grade 9 beginner easy stuff? I plan to take it next semester
