thats so true...how does the registration work? GPA? Also if anyone has textbooks for the following, I'm interested in buying...

I heard it's based on amount of credits & GPA basis. New students are a first come first serve basis.

Quick question. Just got offered into HKIN 1100 with Brent Day which according to RMP is super easy. Should I take that M/W 1030-1230 or stay in my PSYC 1215 with Woolley the same time. PSYC is also half online. RMP says both are very nice. Gah

I think many langara veterans have been over this in the past few posts... for all those wondering if you'll make it in your class, chances are if you're < 20 on the waitlist, you'll make it

*From my experience and others that have posted the same thing

B.Day is super nice and easy. Just show up to class, copy down notes, study off of those for exams. His exams aren't cumulative either and he's not boring... unlike Lendevoy. Avoid at all costs. You also really don't need to buy the text/workbook thing they ask for.

Can't give you my opinon on Woolley, but Psych 1215 was painful for me.

The reason langara is running out of spots is because veterans like me that can't transfer because of the lack of GPA or what not are still attending langara. We still need courses to keep going to school whether its re taking or taking new ones so which means less people leaving and more people coming in.

School is a business and Langara doesnt even have the resources to keep this up and they keep taking in more and more students every semester. They also lack courses and sections to teach the classes, making less sections for each class.

^i've noticed.

Thankfully I've built good relations with all my teachers so I'm pretty sure I can bypass waitlists.

bro I dun goofed. I must've spent countless hours studying and I still fucked up.... < -- doesn't even do it for me

Guess i'll have to rely on luck.. bummer, failing a core course as well as a latest 30 credit means I'll have to think of something else...

too bad i haven't thought of transferring classes sooner

I got 48% on my marketing project cause of this dip shit

Averaging the class with 71%, gonna need 79% minimum in order for me to get 70% 2.67GPA.
