^ do you mean comp sci courses? they're all fairly easy, with cpsc 1000 being easiest (they assume u dont know how to use the comp at all), then maybe like 1050, and when you get to 1150/1155 its pure programming, which to me was more like a test-your-IQ course rather than a programming course....
theres labs, but they're not mandatory to attend in case you hate how you have one stupid lab on a friday and no other classes, and its routine and easy-to-follow unlike how the science courses taking a big chunk of your time and energy each time.
make sure you check out ratemyprofessors.ca first before you choose the course though! Wish I did that sooner myself, heh

^thanks! I was trying to compare the computer programs between langara/bcit/kwantlen etc to see which is best. if you say langara is pretty brainless then maybe it's not a good idea.

o_O I surf the net during all my classes. No problems when it comes to quizzes/tests either. Haha, I don't know what you guys are doing.
I'm sure you can listen and use the computer, I mean a lot of people talk on the phone while gaming/surfing/whatever at home.

Has anyone gotten a parking ticket at langara before?
Do you know if they'll actually come after you if you don't pay?

^it's useless lol. i didn't buy it/use it at all and i got an A- in the class. as long as you have basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Powerpoint you'll be good. i didn't know and still don't know how to use Access much, but whatever. PLUS you can google during your tests/quizzes so it's a joke.

Is there something online where you can find a list of teachers and their office room numbers and times? Try finding it but no luck so far. Gotta talk to all the econ teachers to see if they would let me in haha

^ Yeah, if it's all full, wait-list people get priority..
Plus why don't you just contact the Econ department head?
All the info's online.. http://www.langara.bc.ca/social-cult...s/contact.html

BCAP1200 is a waste of time going to class honestly. Just gonna do the readings at home and go to tests, feels like i'm in some special disabilities class or something. 1/4 of the people in the class are fobbed out to the max. This is the only class i'll probably ever get an A in. LOL

BCAP1200 is just to make sure everyone knows who to use a computer, because a ton of people still can't. It's pretty sad. -_-;;
