LOL, good luck landing a MLB or NFL team in Vancouver. Toronto had problems selling tickets for the Bills game so imagine trying to sell 50,000+ tickets here for a NFL game. On top of trying to sell out each game, you need an owner or ownership group with very deep pockets. No person or group is stupid enough in this day in age to take such a big risk. | Not that I think that BC will get an NFL team in my life time there were reasons that TO had problems selling out the Bills game. The number one reason being they we're asking retarded amounts of money for tickets.
When you could buy Bills seasons tickets in Buffalo for the same price or cheaper then they were charging for 1 ticket for the game in Toronto it's not hard to figure out why they had issues selling tickets. If they brought a team here and single game tickets cost as much as Seahawk seasons tickets we'd have problems to. :)
Edit: BTW I'm a big football fan of both CFL and NFL but I really hope that the NFL never comes to Canada. |
