LOOKS GOOD TO ME. BUT I AM NOT HUMAN SO I CAN NOT PARTICIPATE.

DARN.

saucywoman 01-17-2009 11:36 AM

I did read that, just wondering if anyones done it.

ADBOT 01-18-2009 12:05 AM

They have a very good TripAdvisor rating and reviews.

SkinnyPupp 01-18-2009 12:13 AM

It's just a timeshare presentation. Because it's so lucrative for them, they can give hotel stays just for the chance to pitch the sale. Just don't be stupid and don't buy it, and you can enjoy the free stay :)

haha that's what I was thinking of doing. Hell I'll sit in on a timeshare presentation if it means a free trip.

brokentelephone 01-18-2009 10:05 AM

Always wondered how many hours they'd hound you though!

votrechien 01-18-2009 10:57 AM

I knew a girl who did this (except to Jamaica). It was completely legit. I think the time share presentation was about 3 hours. They're pretty aggressive during the meeting, but if you can say 'no'...

SkinnyPupp 01-18-2009 10:59 AM

I've been to one, and it was about 90 minutes. SUPER aggressive, but they don't really try to "trick" you. There are SO many weak minded fools who will just cave in and blow their money on a time share. Those are the people they prey on. Just don't be one of them :)

Lomac 01-18-2009 11:07 AM

Do they do the sales pitch at the beginning of the trip? I've always wondered what would happen if you simply didn't show up for the time share presentation...

Either way, a relatively free trip to Mexico (c'mon, you know you're going to be spending money on tequila!) is pretty tempting...

They charge you for the trip, obviously!

Too bad....

I'd hate to be on the receiving end of all their telemarketing calls/spam mail though.

how do you figure? It says free 3 night/4 days.

Yeah if you say no what are the reprocussions? I could totally say no to buying anything. I just wouldn't want to get there and then have them charge me the cost of the trip because I say no.

He's saying that if you don't show up for the sales pitch, you will get charged for the stay. Which you probably would, I dunno.

They won't charge you if you say no to the pitch though.

saucywoman 01-19-2009 08:14 AM

Hmmmm, I'm still a little skeptical of this wondering if there's any other catches other than just sitting through a timeshare presentation.

mazdaboi 01-19-2009 08:59 AM

This seems like a good deal if you have enough patience to sit through the whole presentation without wanting to stab yourself in the eye...

411ken 01-19-2009 09:27 AM

Anyone wanna go through it with me? haha..

you call and then post up here what the rules and stuff are. I think if I did it I would take my girl friend because I know she could use a nice getaway.

6793026 01-20-2009 12:21 PM

there are no free lunches in this world.
from other time share, you go there, you register, you sit in a room, huge grand presentation and then you break off to small group with a guy and a girl that pushes you like crazy, they push and push and pressure and question and trial close and rebuttal to the max.

you can still say no, but they make you wake thru fire hoops before you can make it out the door feeling ashamed that you made the guy look bad type feeling.

murd0c 01-20-2009 02:59 PM

I also heard on deal like these that some only give you the free trip if you buy while your down there. They charge you if you dont.

You have a picture of a puppy in your avatar. You're exactly the type of person that ends up buying!
