winch problem
 

got a winch, and the clutch for the winch is VERY hard to turn...hard as in, i take the closed end of a wrench and have to turn it that way...

it was perfectly fine when i put it on, have only used it once to try it out, and now its extremely hard to turn...what should i do?

i was told to put the clutch out and unspool the wire...and then respool it up..but not sure that would exactly do much....

any ideas?
