Computer usually shows ~0.5L/100kms more than the calculated amount.

I do 95% city, 5% highway (knight street bridge), but don't commute in stop/go traffic.

City avg. 10-10.5

On my trip to Calgary 6.6- 6.7 L

On my return trip 5.9 L was the best. Gas was 1.10 per Litre for Regular in Calgary.

91 octane, 68 L tank

About 420km city, 500km hwy...usually 450 mixed. Highway driving really makes a difference.

Last fill-up was ~45L, got around 450kms on that.

10L/100km for a Golf 2.0 5spd. I'm not exactly light footed so I guess it could be better, but I don't think it's particularly bad.

EDIT: didn't realize this was Toyota/Lexus specific. :S

2005 Matrix XR [1ZZ-FE], half on the Coq to Kelowna and half in town after was 6L/100km, with a 50L tank it could get ~830km running it dry.

1992 Celica GT-S [5S-FE] gets ~10L/100km doing mostly city with a 60L tank.

1991 Celica GTFour [3S-GTE] I'd rather not talk about it's fuel economy haha.

always wondered how bad the gtfour got

my 1991 mr2 turbo with the 3S-GTE got 8L/100km on highway, and it's about 11.5L/100km 75% city driving.

87 tercel carb 4wd 3A-C gets 10.5L/100km mixed. 9L/100km on highway on the original 375k motor...

My IS250awd used to get ~420-450 kms per 65L tank IIRC. Lots of hwy driving as well.

Seeing as others have commented on other brands, my Honda Fit gets 500+ on a 40L tank and I drive a slow car fast. Drive a lot for work now so I got a commuter and the only thing I really miss is the air conditioned leather

The GTFour should be pretty close to the MR2, maybe a bit less due to weight. Mine has always had problems and I've only put 6k on it in 4 years so it's not a very accurate representation. The one time I did check it though I think it was up near 14L/100km. I'm curious to see how it is after the rebuild it done.

Wtf is wrong with your Rav? In-laws 07 Rav4 V6 gets 8L/100km highway, 9-10 city, you're getting ~13.
