sumo might have shorter range of motion but top record deadlifters are done conventional.... i've pulled both stance and I find that im stronger with conventional...form wise, sumo is better Quote:

I was trying to get at the fact that they are different variations of an exercise and they have their own form and technique. They are used at different times to train different aspects of the lift. But yea, I'm the same, I can deadlift more with a conventional stance as opposed to the sumo stance. |
