| Class 7 and crossing the border
Hey guys, I used the search and its useless as always. I wanted to know if my N restrictions are still valid once I go down south. Can I drive more people once I pass the border? I asked the ICBC driving services and they said they didnt know. Thanks

Everything still applies when you cross the border.
Let's say you cross the border and get into an motor vehicle accident (not your fault) and you are carrying more passengers than you are legally allowed to while some of them were injured; the other insurance company will find ways to not pay you and the passengers will be suing you. Why put yourself in that position?

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you. |

They don't really give a crap. As long as your license is valid. I went over there many times with my N not displayed when I had my class7 license.

I've checked that website and all they say you need is to fill out that sample consent letter, you may choose to take the extra step in getting it notarized and it should be fine then.
anyone else have experience with this?

A lot of the guys from the states thought it was some gang related sign, well atleast the guys that came from the states to our meets last year. But yeah, just don't speed, regardless of how fast the traffic is going. Maybe i got unlucky, but i was following traffic, probably going about 10miles-12miles/hour above speed limit, and i got a ticket |

As with anything in life.. don't get caught, and if you do get caught, be prepared to live with the consequences.

It'll just be myself and one friend (not danizer )
I'm just wondering about the legality of crossing the border in a car @17 without parents.

They don't care unless you get into an infraction or worse an accident... then all bets are off.
