I have a 1982 yamaha 650 for sale
it has 38,xxxkm on it (been parked for awhile but fired up right away the other day and sounds awesome)
runs minty, starts the first second you press the start button. The only thing wrong with it is it has a slight exhaust leak (no bends or dents in exhaust just needs to be tightened down) and the transmission gear cover plate is a little bit scratched from a very low speed lay down. (damn gravel in corners grr kiewit....)
Bars were also bent on the low side so I put on some wicked moto bars that changed the bike 100 times. It is so much better to ride now with the moto bars instead of the retarded swooping bars that it came with.
It also has an almost brand new rear tire. Front tire has lots of tread left still.
This bike is an excellent bike to learn on, I did my motorcycle liscence with it and passed with ease. A friend that was there that owned a zx10 ninja also used my bike that day instead of his ninja to do the test and he passed as well. It is a very easy bike to ride that is still pretty damn fast.
Guy that owned it before me was a motorcycle mechanic that owned like 6 of these same bikes and kept them in excellent shape.
I am asking $1000 for this bike.
and yes that is the nose of my gtr in the pics which is also for sale..
